Dr. Moira Groh

2x2-photoDr. Moira, as she is better known by her patients, first became interested in pediatric dentistry when she traveled to Peru for a dental outreach program during her dental school training. She loves being a pediatric dentist and treats each patient with a genuine concern, a thoughtful approach and positive perspective.
Growing up in Nebraska, Dr. Moira is an avid football fan and true Husker at heart. She moved to California to obtain a bachelor’s degree from Santa Clara University. She then returned to Nebraska to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Upon graduation she moved to New York City to complete a General Practice Residency at Brookdale University Hospital. Dr. Moira then completed a 2-year Pediatric Dental Residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital specializing in the dental and oral health treatment of pediatric and special needs patients. She served as chief resident during her second year of training.
Dr. Moira is a board eligible Pediatric Dentist. She serves as a part-time attending at Mount Sinai Hospital. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the New York Dental Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Moira spends time with her fiancé and their silver labrador “Dolce”. She enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, and exploring the great city of New York.
